2012 at Defiance: Turned in finest season with Defiance during third year with program … Notched career-highs with 10 appearances, six games started, two wins and 37.1 innings pitched … Served as team’s midweek starter and ranked fourth in victories, innings and starts … Led squad with two successful pickoff attempts … Went at least five frames in four-of-six starts on the bump for the Purple and Gold … Toed rubber for first collegiate start and tossed five shutout innings in DC’s 7-2 win over Lourdes on March 21 … Recorded first win of career with that performance … Held opponents to .244 batting average against on the year with two outs … Went 2-0 with 1.04 earned-run average and 0.63 WHIP in games won by Defiance.
