Bio

Corina Salinas is in her second season as a Graduate Assistant at Defiance College, working primarily with men's and women's soccer, indoor track & field, and softball.

Salinas, a Chicago, Ill. native, graduated in May of 2018 from Northern Illinois University where she earned a Bachelor's degree in athletic training. While at Northern Illinois, Salinas was an athletic training student where she worked primarily with the women's volleyball, cross country, track & field, and women's gymnastics programs. She also assisted locally at Oak Lawn High School. 

Salinas also completed an internship with Purdue University where she worked primarily with the football program. During the spring of 2018, she also completed an internship with Ball State University where she covered men's volleyball and men's and women's tennis teams. 

While at Defiance, Salinas will be working towards her master's degree in business administration.
