Bio

Tyler Wise will begin his second year as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications at Defiance College in 2023-24 after joing DC in August 2022.

Wise comes to Defiance after spending two years as a student assistant for the sports information department at Marietta College. While there, he helped record statistics for men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, baseball, volleyball, and football. He also did camera work for creating highlights for several sports including basketball and track and field.

He has also spent time outside of Marietta serving as a festival support intern for the Orange Bowl Committee, an intern for the Boca Raton Bowl, ticket sales intern for the Akron RubberDucks, and served as a volunteer for the 2021 NFL Draft. 

During his time at Marietta College, he was a member of the men's college tennis team and was also the assistant high school boys and girls tennis coach for Marietta City Schools.

Wise received his Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management and minor in Management from Marietta College in May 2022.
