Women's Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honor
NEW ORLEANS, LA. -- The Defiance College women's cross country program was awarded for their work in the classroom during the fall semester, as they earned USTFCCCA Team All-Academic status for the second conseutive year.
NEW ORLEANS, LA. -- The Defiance College women's cross country program was awarded for their work in the classroom during the fall semester, as they earned USTFCCCA Team All-Academic status for the second conseutive year.
To be considered for the All-Academic Team, squads must have compiled a cumulative GPA of 3.10 or greater and competed in at least five different meets with at least five runners representing their school.
The Yellow Jacket women's team finished the year with a stellar GPA of 3.70 as a unit during the fall semester, which is the 15th-best GPA of the 221 total programs to earn the award.
Johns Hopkins was named the D-III Scholar Team of the Year, while North Central (Ill.) was named Team of the Year on the men's side.
