Defiance Places 17th at All-Ohio
DEFIANCE, OHIO -- The Defiance College women’s cross country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships.
DEFIANCE, OHIO -- The Defiance College women's cross country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships.
The Yellow Jackets placed 17th out of 17 Division III teams competing with 541 total points. The meet was won by Otterbein University with 51 points, followed by Oberlin College and John Carroll University.
DC was led by junior Aaron Textor (Swanton) who finished in the 93rd position, finishing the six-kilometer race in 25:55.2. Juniors Brooke Waidelich (Pettisville) and Laura Lutzke (Williamston, MIch) followed for Defiance finishing in 115th and 116th place, respectively. Juniors Hannah Williams (Swanton) and Cassidy Santen (Woodridge, Ill./Downers Grove North) rounded out the Defiance pack of runners.
Defiance returns to action Friday, Oct. 14 as they run in the #JennaStrong Fall Classic hosted by Wilmington College. The women's five-kilometer race is set to begin at 4:30 p.m.
