Krick and Miller named Runners of the Week

GREENWOOD, Ind. – For their impressive runs this weekend, Colin Krick and Eme Miller have been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Runners of the Week. [Release]

Krick (Hicksville, Ohio / Antwerp Local) and Miller (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) both participated in the Calvin Invitational on Saturday.

Krick would finish with the 90th best time in a field of 291 runners.  He was the first Yellow Jacket to cross the line.  He posted a time of 27:57 for the race.

Not to be outdone, Miller finished 11th in a field of 292 runners.  Miller was also the first Yellow Jacket to cross the line and posted a time of 18:52.  Not only was that time a career best for Miller, but it was also a school record breaking performance.

Krick, Miller, and the rest of the Yellow Jackets will be back for the Wilmington Pre-Nationals Meet on September 27.  Start time is set for 11 am.
