Yellow Jackets Place Sixth at HCAC Championships
CINCINNATI, Ohio – The women’s cross country team finished sixth in the team standings at the HCAC Cross Country Championships on Saturday, posting a score of 155. Manchester won their first ever team title with 38 points, edging out defending champions Franklin by six points.

Kaitlin Switzer led the way for the lady harriers, posting an 18th place finish as she completed the 6k course in 25:25. Switzer was given HCAC honorable mention recognition for her efforts. Sophomore Ellen Stryfeller was the next Yellow Jacket to finish, crossing the finish line in 26:30 for a 27th place finish. Kelly Neff (27:07), Kara Suffel (27:22) and Kaye Bockbrader (27:23) rounded out the top five for the Yellow Jackets.
The cross country team will compete in the NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships in Terre Haute, Ind., on Saturday, November 14.
