HCAC Announces Inaugural Fall All-Sportsmanship Team
GREENWOOD, Ind. – For the first time ever, the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced an All-Sportsmanship Team for the fall of 2009. The award was developed as part of a conference-wide sportsmanship initiative.

Members of the HCAC All-Sportsmanship Team were selected by the head coaches and their teammates as individuals who demonstrate the ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field or court of competition.
Nominees must be a member of an intercollegiate athletic team during the 2009-2010 academic year and must have consistently demonstrated the values of respect and integrity in their daily participation of intercollegiate athletics.
Defiance College's HCAC Sportsmanship Award winners for the fall sports were Matt King (football), Ryan Nusbaum (men's cross country), Mindy DeLong (women's cross country), Hannah Davis (women's soccer), Joseph Loftis (men's soccer), Ashton Judis (volleyball), Taylor Tuttle (women's golf) and Chelsea French (women's tennis).
