Women Finish Tenth at Adrian Invitational
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Defiance College women’s cross country tallied 176 points on their way to a 10th-place finish at the Great Lakes Short and Long Course Championships held on the campus of Adrian College.
ADRIAN, Mich. – The Defiance College women's cross country tallied 176 points on their way to a 10th-place finish at the Great Lakes Short and Long Course Championships held on the campus of Adrian College.
Kaitlin Switzer led the women in the 6K course, finishing 20th with a time of 25:46. Kelly Neff and Amanda Zimmerman were the next two Lady Jackets to finish the 6K course, completing the race in 26:57 and 28:48 respectively. Courtney Swabb topped DC's results for the 3K course, crossing the line in 13:35 on her way to a 27th-place finish. Kristen Goodson and Aubrie Ridinger finished in 15:12 and 15:23 respectively, closing out the scoring for Defiance.
Defiance returns to action on Friday, October 10, when it travels to Delaware, Ohio for the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships.
