Two Jackets Earn HCAC Postseason Honors

Senior Jaidyn Patridge earned All-HCAC honors, while senior Sydney Unger was named a member of the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Patridge earns her first All-HCAC honor after leading the Yellow Jackets and ranking second in the HCAC in digs per set (5.90). She finished the 2017 season with a career-best 466 digs and 53 assists. The senior also holds the Defiance record for digs in a match with 48 set in a 3-2 win over Franklin on September 30.
The senior finishes her impressive career with 1,155 digs, 107 assists, 93 service aces, 15 kills and one block. She appeared in 107 matches and 380 sets for the Yellow Jackets.
Unger grabs her first All-HCAC honor appearing in 23 matches and 76 sets for Defiance. The senior finished the season with 39 kills and 29 service aces ranking her second on the team. The Yellow Jacket also tallied six assists and three blocks.
She finishes her career with 135 kills, 146 digs, 39 service aces and 15 assists. The senior appeared in 70 career matches and 166 sets.
