Volleyball to Host Purple With a Purpose Game
DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College volleyball team and the Alpha Phi Omega co-ed service fraternity have joined forces for the annual Purple with a Purpose game.
DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College volleyball team and the Alpha Phi Omega co-ed service fraternity have joined forces for the annual Purple with a Purpose game.
The partnership begin in 2014 and was developed as a way to raise awareness for those suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The volleyball team and Alpha Phi Omega will be holding a gift basket raffle, as well as accepting donations throughout their contest on Oct. 18 against Manchester with all proceeds being donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
Everyone is encouraged to wear purple on Wednesday as the Yellow Jackets take on the Spartans at 7 p.m. in the Karl H. Weaner Center.
