Volleyball Falls to Otterbein, Columbus State
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Defiance suffered a pair of non-conference defeats on Saturday afternoon. The Jackets fell in four sets to Otterbein on the Cardinals’ home court, before losing in straight sets on the neutral court to Columbus State.

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Defiance suffered a pair of non-conference defeats on Saturday afternoon. The Jackets fell in four sets to Otterbein on the Cardinals' home court, before losing in straight sets on the neutral court to Columbus State.
DC started the day with a 25-16, 25-13, 22-25, 25-23 loss to Otterbein. Sara Porter led all Defiance players with 12 kills, while Kristen Nicely pitched in nine. Kelsey Ferguson tossed up 23 assists and Heather Bradshaw ended with 12 digs.
The Jackets then finished up the double-header with a 25-22, 25-21, 25-17 loss to Columbus State. Bradshaw anchored the defense once again with 14 digs in the loss.
Defiance (10-11) will be back in action on Wednesday, when it travels to Anderson for an HCAC clash at 7:00 pm.
