Bowman Leads Yellow Jackets at the HCAC Championships

CINCINNATI, OHIO - The Defiance College women's track and field team competed at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships on Saturday afternoon hosted by Mount St. Joseph.

The Purple and Gold were led on the day by junior Madi Bowman with a third place finish in the hammer throw with a heave of 44.59 meters, while taking fourth place finish in the shot put with a season-best distance of 11.29 meters.

She also claimed a ninth place finish in the discus throw with a toss of 32.55 meters.
