Women's Track and Field Competes at the Tiffin Dragon Open

TIFFIN, OHIO - The Defiance College women's track and field team competed at the Tiffin Dragon Open on Friday evening hosted by Tiffin University.

The Purple and Gold were led on the day by junior Madi Bowman (Eaton) in the weight throw with a fifth place finish registering a distance of 14.51 meters.

In the pole vault, sophomore Meagan Trimpey (Bowling Green) finished eighth with a height of 2.91 meters.

As a team, Defiance registered 10 season best and five personal records.

Defiance returns to action on Saturday, January 26 as they host the Defiance College Invitational.
