Waidelich Throws at Great Lakes Regional Final Qualifer

WESTERVILLE, OHIO -- The Defiance College women's track and field team had senior Brooke Waidelich (Pettisville) compete at the Great Lakes Regional Final Qualifier at Ohio Wesleyan University on Thursday.

Waidelich threw the discus, with a best toss of 40.00 meters (131 feet, 3 inches), placing in the seventh position out of 13 throwers in the event. 

The senior wrapped up her career as the second best thrower in the discus with a best toss of 40.52 meters (132 feet, 11 inches) earlier this season.
