Miller Breaks Own Steeplechase Record at North Central College

NAPERVILLE, ILL.  --  Junior Eme Miller (Portland, Ind./Jay County) was the lone representative of the Defiance College women's track and field team that traveled to North Central (Ill.) College to compete in the Dr. Keeler Invitational. 

Miller competed solely in the 3000-meter steeplechase and finished in eighth place overall.  She finished in a time of 11:05.75 breaking her own record that she posted earlier this season at the HCAC  Championships on April 29 (11:09.96 previous record time). 

The Yellow Jackets are scheduled to return to Naperville, Ill. for the North Central College Gregory Invitational beginning on Wednesday (May 18). The meet is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
