Miller and Textor Earn HCAC Honors
GREENWOOD, IND. – Defiance College women’s indoor track and field athletes Eme Miller (Portland, Ind./Jay County) and Aaron Textor (Swanton) were recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performances in the indoor season.

Miller was named second-team All-HCAC after finishing second in the 5,000-meter run and the 3,000-meter run at the HCAC Indoor Championships. Miller crossed the line in 18:17.3 in the 5,000-meter run and 10:29.7 in the 3,000-meter race.
Textor was also recognized by the HCAC and was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team. Textor competed in the 4x200-meter relay, 4x400-meter relay and the 800-meter run during the HCAC Indoor Championships.
The Yellow Jacket track and field team will open up their outdoor season on Mar. 19 when they travel to Terre Haute, Ind. to compete in the Rose-Hulman (Ind.) Early Bird Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 12:30 p.m.
