U.S.T.F.C.C.A. ranks DC fifth in Great Lakes Region
DEFIANCE, Ohio – DC’s Track and Field Team continues to garner recognition in the Great Lakes Region Poll, this week the Yellow Jackets are ranked fifth.

The weekly ranking given out by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has DC slipping one spot this week. The Yellow Jackets achieved their highest ranking ever last week with a fourth place ranking.
Three individuals for DC are also ranked inside the top 25 for their event. Kim Bingley (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf), Kali George (East Palestine, Ohio / East Palestine), and Micah Wilson (Mims, Fla. / Astronaut) all rank top 25 in NCAA Division III.
Bingley ranks sixth in the heptathlon and 23rd in the 400-meter hurdles. She has the time of 1:04.36 in the 400-meter hurdles and a score of 4,471 in the heptathlon. Her score in the heptathlon is only 500 points off the first ranked individual.
Ranked 11th in the high jump is George. She cleared a height of 1.65 meters to achieve the ranking. She is just .01 meter away from cracking into the top 10.
The speed of Wilson has her ranked 25th in the 100-meter dash. Her time of 12.37 gave her the honors of being ranked inside the top 25.
Bingley, George, Wilson, and the rest of DC Track and Field are back in action today. They travel to Anderson, Ind. for the Anderson Open with a start time of 2 p.m.
