The Yellow Jackets completed the indoor season with a win at the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Meet. They wasted no time getting started into the outdoor season, winning the Rose-Hulman Early Bird Invitational. They finished with 191 points, beating the second place team by 30 points.
Scoring 191 points takes a great effort from the team, which is exactly what DC got. Many of its athlete's scored points for the Yellow Jackets, including 12 individuals that placed in at least one event inside the top three.
Kim Bingley (Ottawa, Ohio / Ottawa-Glandorf) wasted no time in getting started in the outdoor season. The multi-sport star placed in the top three in three different events.
