Nationals Heptathlon Wraps Up as Bingley takes 16th

Bingley competed in the long jump first and finished in 18th. The product of Ottawa-Glandorf High leaped a distance of 4.96 meters in the event. It was her third-longest mark of the season and earned the Lady Jacket 548 points.
In her final field event of the championships, Bingley hurled a distance of 31.00 meters in the javelin to grab 12th. The toss added 496 more points to her total.
Lastly, the junior ended the afternoon strong and earned her best finish of the competition by placing fourth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:25.93. Bingley crossed the finish line in her second-fastest mark of the season, as well as being the third quickest on the team in 2013. The finish notched 745 points for the Ottawa, Ohio, native and brought her championships total to 4413.
