DELAWARE, Ohio – Defiance College women's track and field member Brooke Lime took to the track Monday, May 13, as the sophomore competed at the Ron Altoff Invitational hosted by Ohio Wesleyan University.
Lime was solid, as the Defiance, Ohio, native earned first in the 100-meter hurdles and third place in the 400 hurdles with times of 15.53 and 1:06.77, respectively. The sophomores mark in the 400h was her second best of the year.
If Lime concludes her 2013 campaign with this meet, only two Lady Jacket track and field athletes will continue on with the season. Juniors Kim Bingley and Kali George remain qualified for National Collegiate Athletic Association National Championships in the heptathlon. The pair sits 13th and 16th, respectively in the national rankings and will compete at the championships from May 23-25 if they remain in the top-22 leading up to the competition.
