HCAC Tabs Lime as Women’s Track Athlete of the Week

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Defiance College freshman Brooke Lime was announced as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Track Athlete of the Week.

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Defiance College freshman Brooke Lime was announced as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week. It is the first time Lime has won the award.

Lime posted the best result of the day for the DC women's track and field team at the All-Ohio Championships. The freshman finished the 100-meter hurdles in fourth place to narrowly miss All-Ohio honors. Lime completed the race in a time of 15.98, and also led off the 11th-place 4x100 meter relay team.

The Yellow Jackets will return to competition on Saturday, April 21 at Spartan Classic hosted by Manchester. The meet is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am.
