Marquez Sisters Earn Postseason Honors

GREENWOOD, IND – Defiance College women's tennis players, Savannah Marquez and Bailey Marquez were recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performance on the court in the 2014 season.  [All-HCAC Teams]

Savannah Marquez (Porterville, Calif./Porterville) was named to the honorable mention All-HCAC team for 2014. Marquez played at first, second and third singles throughout the season and went 2-9 for the year during singles play.

Bailey Marquez (Porterville, Calif./Porterville) was also recognized by the HCAC, and was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Marquez played at the third and fourth singles spots and second doubles the whole season.

Rose Hulman's Suzana Mohd and Isabella Evans were named HCAC Most Valuable Player and Freshman of the Year, respectively. Hanover (Ind.) College's head coach Ryan Miller was named the HCAC Coach of the Year.
