Hanover has been selected to defend its title in the HCAC.
A trio of talented juniors were put on the HCAC Preseason Players to Watch for DC. Haley Kuhlman (Oregon, Ohio / Clay), Savannah Marquez (Porterville, Calif. / Porterville), and Nicole Tank (Lincoln Park, Mich. / Roosevelt) were all honored by the HCAC.
Kuhlman played fourth singles and second doubles last year for DC. She had a big 6-4, 6-0 win at Earlham toward the end of the season last year.
Marquez played a lot of second singles and doubles last season. She could be asked to play number one several times as DC's number one from last year graduated.
Tank is another player that will be asked to play number one singles and doubles. She played first doubles last season and will be the most experienced Yellow Jacket in that position.
DC opens up its season on Saturday, September 6 at home against Thomas More. Match time is set to begin at 10 am.
