Yellow Jackets Lose in Conference Finale

DEFIANCE, Ohio –The Defiance College women's tennis team lost in its final Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference match of the season to Hanover College on Saturday morning. The final score of the match was 9-0.

The closest match of the day for the Jackets was sophomore Danielle LaBarbera at the number six singles position. LaBarbera dropped a close first set by a score of 7-5 and then dropped the second set 6-2.

DC's final match of the season is Monday, October 10 when it travels to Heidelberg. The match is slated to begin at 3:30 p.m.
