Lady Jackets Grounded Against Anderson

DEFIANCE, Ohio –The Defiance College Lady Yellow Jackets dropped a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference home match against Anderson University on Friday evening by a score of 9-0. The loss drops DC's HCAC record to 2-6 on the season.

The Purple and Gold were overwhelmed in many of the matches, as Anderson was just too strong on Friday. Seniors Nicole Lovins and Katie Carunchia played Defiance's closest match of the day at the number two doubles position losing 8-3.

The Jackets are next in action tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. when they host HCAC foe Hanover College. The match will take place at the newly renovated Dix Tennis Facility.
