DEFIANCE, Ohio – The DC women’s tennis team lost 9-0 in their match to the University of Northwestern Ohio on Sunday, continuing what has been a tough season for the Jackets thus far.

The three doubles matches were 8-1 decisions, while all six singles matches were lost in straight sets. Katie Carunchia continued her competitive play, dropping a 6-2 decision in the second set of the No. 4 singles match.
Defiance (0-5, 0-3 HCAC) will be back in action on Tuesday, September 17, when it plays at Sinclair Community College.
