Women's soccer earns fourth straight United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches recently announced its Team Academic Award winners for the 2020-21 academic year with the Defiance College women's soccer squad earning a spot on the list for the fourth year in a row.

To receive a USC Team Academic Award, all members of the squad must combine for a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) over the entire school year. Founded in 1941, USC is the world's largest soccer coaches' organization that serves members at every level of the game. The Yellow Jackets posted a team GPA of 3.62

A total of 624 soccer teams (231 men, 393 women) were recognized for their academic achievements.
