Nowak Joins Defiance College Women's Soccer Coaching Staff

DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College women's soccer team has announced the addition of assistant coach Beth Anne Nowak.

Nowak comes to Defiance after serving as the Assistant Coach for the North United Pittsburgh Soccer Club where she ran practice sessions, assisted with game day management and over saw administrative features. 

Prior to joining the North United Pittsburgh soccer club, she served as an assistant coach at Geneva College for two seasons. While at Geneva, Nowak led goalkeeper and defender practices, developed off season workouts and aided in recruiting efforts. Furthermore, she developed practice plans for central midfielders and defenders to best optimize practice time as well as fix essential breakdowns. 

She honed her skills at Washington Christian Academy where she served as the head varsity coach. Nowak conducted preparation work outs, created starting line ups and develped effective operation budgets for Washington Christian Academy. 

The Maryland native earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Geneva College in 2016 and is currently working towards a Master's Degree in Higher Education.
