The Defiance women's golf team competed in Day 1 of the Polar Bear Classic on Sunday afternoon.
The Basics
- The event was hosted by Ohio Northern and took place at the Colonial Golfers Club in Harrod, Ohio.
- The Yellow Jackets finished sixth out of six teams and shot a combined team score of 430.
- Ohio Northern placed first at the event with a score of 351.
On The Course
- Junior Mari Najar led Defiance shooting a 99 and finished tied for 18th.
- Freshman Winter Boroff shot a 105 and placed 24th.
- Junior Julia Yeager ended the outing finishing 27th and shot a 110.
- Freshman Aubrey Bujalski placed 29th after recording a 116.
- Sophomore Taylor Greilich ended with a 131 and finished 32nd.
