The Defiance women's basketball team fell in a tough HCAC battle against Anderson at home on Wednesday night, 77-67.
The Basics

- Leading the Yellow Jackets was senior Taylor Day with 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds while dishing out five assists.
- Junior Taylor Steinbrunner added 14 points during the contest.
- Junior Lexie Sparks chipped in 11 points off the bench.
- Sophomore Katlin Barrett scored eight points for Defiance and blocked two shots.
- As a team, the Yellow Jackets went 27-of-78 (.346) from the field and shot 5-of-22 (.227) from the three-point line.
