Bio

Kalin Hubble joined the Defiance College softball staff ahead of the 2024 season for her first season of collegiate coaching. One of the most decorated players in DC softball history, Hubble graduated Magna Cum Laude from DC in 2022 with a bachelor of science in social work and psychology before serving as an individualized mental health therapist at a small practice for a year.

As a player, Hubble holds numerous program records during the 2019-22 seasons. Hubble is the Yellow Jackets' career home run (29) and RBI (124) leader while also holding career marks for doubles (44), runs scored (121), and extra-base hits (77). As for single-season program records, Hubble holds the top two single-season home run marks (10, 9), RBIs (45), and slugging percentage (.816). Hubble was also a .423 career hitter and slugged .757 over four seasons.

Hubble also garnered HCAC Player of the Year honors in 2021 and was the conference's Freshman of the Year in 2019. Hubble was a three-time First Team All-HCAC selection and two-time Academic All-HCAC. Hubble was also honored by the NFCA with All-Region honors as a junior (Second Team) and senior (First Team) and was the HCAC's NCAA Woman of the Year Nominee in 2022.

A native of Anderson, Ind., Hubble graduated from Anderson High School and earned seven total varsity letters in softball and volleyball.
