2008 at Defiance: Defiance’s staff ace led the team with 27 appearances, while making 26 starts…Broke a DC single-season record with 25 complete games…Tied a single-season school record with 18 victories, ranking 34th nationally in that category…Posted career-highs in innings pitched (178.1) and earned-run average (1.69)…The three-time HCAC Pitcher-of-the-Week honoree led the conference in five different statistical categories, earning All-HCAC honors for the third-straight year…Went 2-2 with a 0.97 ERA in the NCAA Regional Tournament, helping the Jackets advance to their first NCAA Regional Final Four and earning All-Regional Team honors…Named NFCA Academic All-American… Selected to the Academic All-District IV Second Team.

2007 at Defiance: Led DC with 29 appearances and 21 starts as the Jackets’ ace…Led the HCAC with 138.1 innings pitched and 119 strikeouts…Finished the season ranked second in the conference with 12 wins, going 12-9 on the season with a 3.80 ERA…Recorded 16 complete games and one shutout…Earned back-to-back HCAC Player-of-the-Week honors…Named an All-HCAC selection following the season.
