DC Competes at All-Ohio
CEDARVILLE, OHIO -- The Defiance College men’s cross country team competed as four individuals at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships in Cedarville, Ohio.
CEDARVILLE, OHIO -- The Defiance College men's cross country team competed as four individuals at the All-Ohio Cross Country Championships in Cedarville, Ohio.
Mount Union won the meet in the team standings with 60 points, barely edging Ohio Northern University's 67 points.
Senior Jacob Rindler (St Henry) led the charge of Yellow Jackets, finishing in 102nd position with a time of 31:04.8.
Sophomore Darren Gies (Plymouth), senior John Seeley (Sault Ste. Marie, Mich./Sault Area) and sophomore Brandon Zartman (Paulding) finished 111th, 112th, and 113th, respectively to round out the Defiance brigade of runners.
The Yellow Jackets will run their final meet before the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Oberlin Regional Rumble at Oberlin College. The race will begin at 10:30 a.m.
