Yellow Jackets Compete in All-Ohio Championships
CEDARVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College men’s cross country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships and finished 18th with a team score of 529.
CEDARVILLE, OHIO – The Defiance College men's cross country team traveled to Cedarville, Ohio to compete in the All-Ohio Championships and finished 18th with a team score of 529.
Defiance led by junior Clayton Bruggeman (St. Henry) who finished 111th with a time of 27:55.62. Junior Colin Krick (Hicksville) had the second fastest time for the team of 28:22.69, crossing the line 149th. Junior Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. /Brown County) and freshman Stephan Beasley (Westerville/Oakstone Academy) finished in 28:58.79 and 31:58.49, respectively. Rounding out the scoring times for Defiance was freshman Daren Gies (Plymouth) who crossed the line in 32:29.82. Junior John Seeley also competed for Defiance and finished with a time of 33:33.94.
The Purple and Gold will compete next on Friday Oct. 16 when they travel to Wilmington, Ohio to compete in the Wilmington Invitational. The meet is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m.
