DC Takes Fourth
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The 2014 cross country season began with the Yellow Jacket men’s team competing against three other schools at the annual Hokum Karem meet hosted by Manchester University.
NORTH MANCHESTER, Ind. – The 2014 cross country season began with the Yellow Jacket men's team competing against three other schools at the annual Hokum Karem meet hosted by Manchester University.
The event consisted of teams of two running an eight mile relay where the runners alternated each mile.
Defiance was led with a 13th place finish by the sophomore duo Colin Krick (Hicksville, Ohio / Antwerp) and Zach Roush (Nashville, Ind. / Brown County).
Not far behind were freshmen Jaymes Cole and Diego Sanchez placing 14th overall. Senior Andrew Senecal (North Baltimore, Ohio / North Baltimore) and sophomore Jacob Rindler (St. Henry, Ohio / St. Henry) followed in at 15th place.
The next event for the men will be on Saturday, September 13 at 10:00 am for the Calvin Invitational in Grand Rapids, Mich.
