Men’s Harriers Record a Perfect Six at the Bluffton Dual Meet
BLUFFTON, Ohio – The men’s cross country team posted the lowest possible score at the Bluffton Dual Meet on Friday, accounting for each of the top-three times at the race for a team score of six. Defiance also accounted for six of the top-ten finishers at the invitational.

Sophomore harrier, Hayden Krick, led the Yellow Jackets with a time of 17:14.56 on the 5k course, just edging out his teammate, Joe Davis, for the best time at the meet. Krick has placed first among the DC harriers in each of the three individual races so far this season.
Davis came in at 17:15.07 to take second at the meet, while fellow freshman, Madison Murphy, came in third overall at 17:24.58 to complete the sweep for Defiance.
Aaron Fraley crossed the line less than a second behind Murphy with a time of 17:25.51 to claim the number four spot at the race. DC's Keiquan Blackmon came in at 20:36.77 for an eighth-place finish, and Troy Secrest finished tenth overall with a time of 21:33.38.
Next on the schedule for Defiance is the All-Ohio Championships, which will take place on Friday, October 1, in Cedarville, Ohio. The meet is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
