DC Harriers End Season with 24th-Place Finish at Regionals
HOLLAND, Mich. – The men’s cross country team placed 24th out of 33 teams at the NCAA Div. III Great Lakes Regional Championship in Holland, Mich. on Saturday. DC’s runners averaged a time of 27:18.6 on the 8k course, marking a 1:42 improvement over last year’s regional championship performance.

Justin Perkins paced the Yellow Jackets for the fourth-straight week, crossing the line in 26:39.1 to place 76th overall, and Seth Bidlack placed 99th as he finished with a season-best time of 26:55.1 to claim DC's only other top-100 finish.
Freshmen, Hayden Krick and Joe Davis, were the next two finishers for Defiance with times of 27:18.8 and 27:49.4 respectively, while Aaron Fraley rounded out DC's top-five scorers as he completed the course in 27:50.5. Krick and Fraley's times each represented their best performances of the season.
The race marks the final competition of the season for the Defiance College cross country team, and the last race for DC senior runners, Seth Bidlack, Troy Secrest and Issac Wilkins.
