Defiance to Host Track & Field Coaches Clinic

DEFIANCE, OHIO - The Defiance College Track & Field program is set to host the 2nd annual Coaches Clinic on Sunday, December 2nd. 

The coaching education symposium will cover a variety of topics including sprints/hurdles, jumps, throws, and distance events. The Defiance coaching staff will offer guidance for improving technique as well as mechanics. 

The clinic will include speakers such as Head Coach Ken Ciolek, Assistant Coaches Katie Patterson, Mike Beidleman, and Tom Postema, as well as Northwest Ohio OHSAA Officials Association President Dave Espinoza. 

A student athlete panel will take place to discuss the topic of transitioning from high school to college. A round table will conclude the event, giving coaches the platform to ask any questions they would like.
