Miller and Hilton finish strong at Dr. Keeler Invitational
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Eme Miller and Josh Hilton both traveled to North Central College to compete in the Dr. Keeler Invitational.
NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Eme Miller and Josh Hilton both traveled to North Central College to compete in the Dr. Keeler Invitational.
Both runners took to the track to run in the 5,000-meter races.
Miller (Portland, Ind. / Jay County) smoked the school record in the race on way to a 14th place finish. The race featured 55 runners and Miller was clearly one of the top athletes on the track. Her time of 18:20.75 set the new school record by over 30 seconds.
In the men's race, Hilton (Antwerp, Ohio / Antwerp) also saw a strong finish for the Yellow Jackets. In his race, Josh finished in the top half, coming in 46th place out of 100 racers. Hilton also saw a solid time of 16:01.97 when he crossed the finish line.
