Weber, Finch and Perez added sophomore Ryan Johnston to the mix and ran a 1:37.08 in the 4x200 relay for another first-place time.
Then onto the longer events of the 500, 800 and 3,000 meter runs, the Yellow Jacket men grabbed three more top finishes. Sophomore Madison Murphy ran a 1:08.68 to set a new Defiance College record in the 500. Finishing right behind him in second was junior Adam Grillot with a time of 1:10.51.
Troy Parrett, a Cedarville, Ohio native, then literally ran away from the competition in the 800 meters, as he placed first by almost 10 full seconds and just missed the DC record in the event by .41 seconds.
Finally, junior Joe Davis took his strong performances during the fall in cross country and translated them to a first-place mark in the 3,000 meter run. Davis ran a 9:06.97 for the top spot of nine competitors.
Of the Jacket throwers on the afternoon, junior Anthony Nolfi had the best finish on the team by registering 14.29 meters in the weight throw. The toss was good enough for a third-place finish out of 15.
