Demeo, Swisher and Savage Earn HCAC Postseason Honors
GREENWOOD, IND. – Defiance College men’s tennis players James Demeo (Oregon/Clay), Adam Swisher (Bedford, Mich. /Bedford), and Tory Savage (Bryan) were recognized by the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference for their performances on the court in the 2016 season.

Demeo was named to the All-HCAC team for the 2016 season. Demeo was the primary first singles player for the Yellow Jackets and ended the season with an 11-8 overall record and 4-4 in conference play. He finished with an overall doubles record of 12-7 and 4-4 in conference play, mainly at the first and second doubles spots.
Swisher was named to the honorable mention All-HCAC team. He compiled an 11-8 overall singles record and 3-5 in conference play, where he defended the second singles spot. He played first doubles the entire season and finished with an overall record of 12-7 and 4-4 in HCAC play.
Savage was also recognized by the HCAC, and was named to the All-Sportsmanship team. Savage played third singles and finished with an overall record of 7-12 and 2-6 in HCAC play. He also played first and second doubles during the season and finished 10-9, 3-5 HCAC.
