Ault Scores Pair of Wins in 7-2 Loss at Anderson
ANDERSON, Ind. – Defiance College played its final road match of the 2011 regular season on Thursday afternoon, falling by a 7-2 count at Anderson University.
ANDERSON, Ind. – Defiance College played its final road match of the 2011 regular season on Thursday afternoon, falling by a 7-2 count at Anderson University. Trevor Ault notched wins at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles but the Ravens took the rest for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference victory.
Ault upped his 2011 win total to 12 by teaming with Cord Speelman for an 8-6 win in doubles action, before securing a 6-1, 6-2 win over Drew Lovern in the top singles contest.
Defiance (3-17, 0-7 HCAC) will close its regular season on Saturday with a tri-match at the Dix Tennis Facility. The Jackets will take on Grand Rapids Community College at 9:00 am and Rose-Hulman at 1:00 pm.
