DEFIANCE, Ohio – Defiance College had little trouble bouncing Central State on Thursday afternoon in a non-conference men's tennis match at the Dix Tennis Facility. DC picked up three forfeit victories and swept through six more to secure the 9-0 win over the Marauders.
Trevor Ault set the tone with wins at the top singles and doubles matches, while Mark Vandevender also notched a pair of victories with wins at No. 2 doubles and No. 3 singles.
Defiance (2-14, 0-4 HCAC) will get back into conference play on Saturday at Transylvania. The Jackets will challenge Transy (4-3, 3-0 HCAC) at 9:00 am and Earlham (8-3, 1-1 HCAC at noon.
