Men’s Tennis Tops Regis for First Victory
HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Defiance College opened its week in Hilton Head, South Carolina on a high note on Sunday, topping Regis by an 8-1 count to secure the first win of the season for the Yellow Jacket men’s tennis program.

Austin Gray led the charge for Defiance, earning a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles and teaming with Mark Vandevender for an 8-4 victory at No. 2 doubles. Gray's strong singles play set the tone for DC, as the Jackets won five of the six competitions in straight sets.
Defiance (1-2) will be back in action on Monday, when it plays Wittenberg at 9:30 am and Mount Union at 3:30 am in Hilton Head.
