Men’s Tennis Falls at Trine
ANGOLA, Ind. – Defiance College suffered its second-straight, 9-0, defeat to open the 2011 campaign after getting blanked at Trine on Thursday evening.
ANGOLA, Ind. – Defiance College suffered its second-straight, 9-0, defeat to open the 2011 campaign after getting blanked at Trine on Thursday evening. The match was DC's final test before heading to Hilton Head, South Carolina for six matches over spring break.
The doubles tandem of Austin Gray and Mark Vandevender played the closest match of the day, falling by an 8-4 margin at No. 2 doubles. The Jackets were swept in doubles action and lost all six singles competitions in straight sets to the Thunder (2-1).
Defiance (0-2) will open its stay at the Hilton Head Classic on March 6 against Regis at 2:30 pm.
