Men’s Tennis Drops Non-Conference Match at Findlay

FINDLAY, Ohio – Trevor Ault and Lachmond Bratton each went unbeaten in Defiance's non-conference match at Findlay on Friday but the Oilers held serve in the remaining contests and topped the Jackets by a 6-3 count. 

UF jumped out to a 2-1 advantage after securing wins at the top two doubles matches. Ault and Bratton took DC's lone win by topping Nick Eby and David Brooks, 8-4. 

The Oilers sealed the team win by topping the Jackets in each of the top four singles contests, before Ault and Bratton took victories at No.5 and No. 6. 

Defiance (9-5) will play on its home courts for the first time in 2009 when it hosts Grace College on Saturday in another non-conference showdown. The match is set to begin at 1:00 pm.
