Ault Nets HCAC Weekly Honor for Men's Tennis

GREENWOOD, Ind. – Tyler Ault picked up wins at his No. 1 singles and doubles position to lead Defiance College to a 6-3 win at Adrian in its lone match of the week and was named as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week.

Ault led the way for the Jackets in the win over Adrian by notching a 6-2, 6-0 victory at the top singles contest, before teaming with Adam Fausey to earn an 8-3 win at No. 1 doubles.

Ault is now 2-2 for the Yellow Jackets at the top singles position and is unbeaten in DC's pair of victories this season in singles and doubles action.

Defiance (2-2) will have the week off before competing in spring break action at Hilton Head, S.C.
