Men's Soccer Sweeps HCAC Player of the Week Honors

RICHMOND, IND. - Defiance College seniors Adam Ordel and Clay Musgrave swept the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors this past week. Ordel was named Offensive Player of the Week, while Musgrave earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. 

Ordel scored a game winning goal in the Yellow Jackets HCAC season opener against Franklin in double overtime. The senior also added an assist to his name earlier in the week against Thiel. 

Musgrave tallied 12 saves in 193 minutes, including one shutout. The shutout against Thiel jumped Musgrave to second on the Defiance College men's soccer all-time shutout list.

Defiance will return to action Wednesday, October 3rd as they host Bluffton at 3:30 pm.
