Sophomore goalkeeper Clay Musgrave (Upper Sandusky) was named an honorable mention honoree and senior Trevor Hester (Liberty Center/Monclova Christian Academy) was named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.
Kleptz earns second-team honors for the first time after receiving honorable mention honors in his first two seasons. This past fall, Kleptz started in 16 of 18 games and scored seven goals and two assists for a total of 16 points. The goal and point totals both tied him for fourth most in a single season in school history. Kleptz has a total of 20 goals in his career, becoming the all-time leader in goals scored in DC history. Kleptz tied the all-time scoring record with a two-goal performance against Thiel (Pa.) College as DC finished a 3-2 victory. He broke the record in a 2-2 tie with Franklin (Ind.) College on Oct. 1. Kleptz has 43 total career points which puts him one point off from the all-time points record at DC, as well.
Musgrave started all 18 games for the Yellow Jackets, logging 1709 minutes in the net. Musgrave finished his sophomore season with a 5-8-4 record. Musgrave led the HCAC with 121 saves and averaged 6.7 saves per game. He also finished with two shutout performances, including collecting ten saves in a 1-0 win against Huntington (Ind.) University on Sept. 10. His season high in saves came at Franklin, as he stopped 13 shots to help DC battle to a 2-2 tie.
Senior defender Trevor Hester (Liberty Center/Monclova Christian) was also honored by the HCAC as a member of the All-HCAC Sportsmanship Team. Hester started in 17 of the team's 18 contests as a defender and recorded two shots this season. He helped anchor the Yellow Jackets on the defensive end of the field with two shutout victories on the year.
